• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
  • Perform deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
  • Handle cargo gear and assist during cargo operations
  • Stand lookout and assist on bridge as required
  • Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
  • Support officers and senior deck crew in daily duties
• Requirements:
  • Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
  • Previous sea service in deck department preferred
  • Valid seaman’s book and medical certificate (fit for duty)
  • Good level of English, spoken and written
  • Strong safety awareness and willingness to work hard in all weather
  • Team player with a positive and responsible attitude
