OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in Europe. If you are a competent deck officer with strong tanker background and leadership skills, we invite you to explore this opportunity onboard our vessel.

• Key responsibilities:
• Oversee deck operations, navigation watch and cargo handling
• Plan and supervise loading, discharging and tank cleaning operations
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with ISM, ISPS and company procedures
• Lead and train deck crew, including safety drills and emergency response
• Monitor stability, ballast operations and cargo documentation
• Maintain deck and cargo equipment in good working condition

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) for Oil/Chemical Tankers
• Relevant sea service as Chief Officer or strong 1/O experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers
• Valid tanker endorsements (Oil/Chemical), STCW certificates and medical
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong safety mindset and hands-on leadership style
• EU visa/working eligibility for Europe voyages is an advantage
