• Key responsibilities:
• Assist deck officers and Bosun with daily deck work
• Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning and greasing jobs
• Handle mooring lines during berthing and unberthing
• Stand lookout and assist on bridge as required
• Support cargo and ballast operations as instructed
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly
• Requirements:
• Valid STCW basic safety training
• Ordinary Seaman seaman’s book / rating certificate as applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Experience on bulk carriers preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
