In this role, you will be at the forefront of guest interaction, delivering outstanding service and ensuring a seamless onboard experience.

As a Room Service Operator, you will be the welcoming voice guests hear when placing room service orders, as well as their point of contact for any inquiries. You will oversee a team of Assistant Waiters, ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered promptly. This position requires round-the-clock availability, offering support and assistance to guests whenever needed.

As a visible and essential member of the team, you will interact frequently with guests, helping to create the exceptional vacation experience Carnival is known for.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report for duty on time and maintain appropriate grooming standards
  • Maintain general knowledge of ship functions and operations
  • Supervise Assistant Waiters within Room Service
  • Ensure all trays leaving Room Service are correctly prepared
  • Submit shift reports and escalate issues to the Assistant Maitre D’, Maitre D’, or F&B Manager
  • Distribute in-cabin beverages on non–mini bar ships and process checks accordingly
  • Conduct accurate shift handovers, including inventory of revenue items
  • Report any lost, broken, or missing items

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Minimum Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Positive, hospitable attitude with strong self-motivation
  • Adherence to grooming standards in line with Carnival guidelines
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Prior experience supervising a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
