Key responsibilities
- Assist engine officers and ratings with daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room, bilges, workshops and machinery spaces
- Help with routine checks, watchkeeping and basic maintenance work
- Handle tools, equipment and stores in a safe and proper way
- Follow all safety, pollution prevention and company procedures
Requirements
- Previous sea experience in engine department preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker (oil/chemical) endorsements as required
- Medically fit for sea service
- Good English communication skills
- Willing to work hard, learn and follow instructions on board
