OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to sail on board a modern container vessel trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting smooth cargo and ship operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in power generation, distribution and control systems
• Maintain and test navigation, communication and cargo handling equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance and keep technical records up to date
• Support engine and deck departments during operations, drills and emergencies
• Ensure all work follows safety rules, class and company standards

Requirements

• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
• Recent seagoing experience as ETO, preferably on container vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificates
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and hands-on attitude
