OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of the deck and engine team, making sure all electrical and electronic systems run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
• Look after power generation, distribution, lighting and control systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation, navigation and communication systems
• Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records
• Ensure safe working practices and support the engine department in daily operations

Requirements

• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) certificate, meeting STCW requirements
• Sea experience as ETO, preferably on container vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Valid medical certificate and other standard seafarer documents
• Good command of English and ability to work in an international crew
