Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional bridge team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations and overall vessel safety on international voyages.

• Key responsibilities:
• Stand bridge watch and ensure safe navigation and collision avoidance
• Assist the Chief Officer with voyage planning and ship’s paperwork
• Assist in cargo operations, stability, and lashing checks
• Carry out safety rounds, drills, and ISM/ISPS procedures
• Maintain assigned navigation and safety equipment
• Support the implementation of company and statutory safety standards
• Requirements:
• Valid STCW II/1 Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (or higher)
• Previous experience as 2/O or experienced 3/O on car carriers or Ro-Ro vessels preferred
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in an international crew
