Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on a PSV operating offshore Brunei. You will support safe navigation, cargo and deck operations, and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the vessel.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watches and assist the Chief Officer and Master
- Plan and monitor voyages, including route, position fixing and reporting
- Assist in DP operations and offshore supply work as required
- Supervise deck crew during cargo, loading, discharging and mooring operations
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment, LSA/FFA and navigational gear
- Support implementation of SMS, permits to work and safety drills
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW (II/1 or higher) license
- Previous experience as 2/O, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Familiarity with DP operations and offshore cargo work is an advantage
