OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Night Cook/Baker to work onboard an offshore construction vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of the galley team, preparing fresh meals and baked goods for the crew during night hours.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold meals for night shift crew according to menu plans
- Bake fresh bread, rolls, pastries and other bakery items nightly
- Ensure proper storage, thawing and handling of provisions
- Keep galley, bakery area and equipment clean and in good order
- Follow food safety, hygiene and HSE standards at all times
- Assist Chief Cook and Galley team as needed
- Requirements:
- Proven sea-going experience as Night Cook, Cook/Baker or similar
- Good skills in both cooking and baking for multinational crews
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently on night shifts and under time pressure
- Willingness to work worldwide on rotation
