Set sail as a Sous Chef on an ocean cruise passenger vessel operating from Spain. Work closely with the Head Chef and galley team to deliver high-quality meals for guests and crew while keeping safety, hygiene, and efficiency as top priorities. Join us on board and develop your skills in a professional maritime kitchen.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Assist the Head Chef in daily galley operations and menu execution
    • Prepare and cook dishes for passengers and crew according to standards
    • Support planning of menus, provisioning, and stock control
    • Ensure galley hygiene, food safety, and proper storage of provisions
    • Train and guide junior galley staff and maintain smooth teamwork
    • Follow all shipboard safety and emergency procedures
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience as Sous Chef or senior cook, preferably on cruise or passenger vessels
    • Formal culinary training or equivalent sea-going experience
    • Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP
    • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
    • Good English communication skills
    • Ability to work in shifts and in a fast-paced galley at sea
