Set sail as 1st Cook on a passenger ocean cruise vessel in Spain. Be part of OSM Thome’s galley team and help deliver tasty and well-presented meals to guests and crew while keeping high safety and hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and cook daily menus for passengers and crew
Ensure all dishes are cooked to company standards and on time
Lead and guide galley staff during food preparation and service
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and cleaning routines
Control stock, assist with ordering and proper storage of provisions
Work closely with the Chief Cook and other departments when needed
Requirements:
Previous experience as 1st Cook or similar position at sea, preferably on passenger vessels
Relevant maritime and culinary certificates in line with STCW
Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced galley and manage a small team
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and travel documents
