Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on a shuttle tanker operating in Brazil. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep the vessel running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems
• Carry out watchkeeping duties and monitor engine room performance
• Perform planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary equipment
• Ensure proper operation of fuel, luboil and ballast systems
• Follow company safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times
• Lead and supervise junior engine room staff when required

Requirements

• Valid 2nd Engineer (STCW III/2) license for motor vessels
• Recent experience as 2/E on tanker vessels; shuttle tanker experience is an advantage
• All required STCW certificates and valid medical fitness
• Strong knowledge of engine room operations, maintenance and safety procedures
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work in Brazilian coastal and offshore trade
