Key responsibilities
Assist in daily food preparation for passengers and crew
Follow menus and instructions from the Chief Cook and Sous Chef
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the galley
Handle storage, labelling and stock rotation of provisions
Support dishwashing, cleaning and general galley duties as required
Requirements
Previous experience as 3rd Cook or Galley Assistant on passenger or cruise vessels preferred
STCW certificates valid for service at sea
Valid seafarer medical certificate
Good command of English
Team player, able to work in a busy galley and follow instructions
