Start your seagoing career as a Galley Utility on an ocean cruise vessel with OSM Thome, sailing from Spain. Work closely with the galley team to keep the ship’s catering operations clean, safe, and well organized for both crew and passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist cooks and galley staff with basic food preparation and handling
• Clean galley equipment, utensils, stores, and pantries
• Wash dishes, pots, and cutlery and keep scullery areas in good order
• Handle garbage segregation and disposal according to ship procedures
• Follow all hygiene, health, and safety rules on board
• Support loading and storing of galley provisions

Requirements

• Previous experience in galley, catering, or hotel/kitchen work (shipboard experience an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices
• Good level of spoken English
• Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
• Valid seafarer documents as required for international voyages
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
