Join OSM Thome as Messman on board an ocean-going passenger cruise vessel trading from Spain. We are looking for a hard-working seafarer with a positive attitude to support the crew and staff in the mess rooms and pantry.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and order in crew and staff mess rooms, pantries and service areas
• Set up and clear tables for all meals, including drinks and condiments
• Assist in basic food preparation and serving as directed by catering officers
• Collect, sort and return dishes, cutlery and galley equipment
• Follow hygiene, safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Support the galley and hotel departments with other daily duties as required

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Messman or similar catering position at sea preferred
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical, meeting international requirements
• Good command of English, spoken and understood on board
• Fit for duty, able to work shifts and stand for long periods
• Team player with good manners and service-minded attitude
