Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on board our bulk carriers trading worldwide. You will be part of the deck crew, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations while gaining solid sea experience.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist with mooring, anchoring and cargo operations
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
• Stand gangway watch and lookout watch as directed
• Handle ropes, wires and deck gear safely
• Support the deck officers and Bosun in daily deck work
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly

• Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
• Previous experience on seagoing vessels, bulk carrier experience an advantage
• Valid seafarer’s medical certificate and passport
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for deck work and willing to work in all weather conditions
• Safety-minded, hardworking and a good team player
• Candidate must have experience in current rank at least 1 yr
• Candidate must have valid US Visa.
• Must have valid BT PSSR training
