• Key responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Plan and supervise repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance
• Lead, train, and supervise engine room officers and ratings
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures
• Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption and maintain good housekeeping in the engine room
• Prepare and maintain engine logs, records, and reports

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer unlimited CoC (STCW compliant)
• Experience as C/E on container vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and safety mindset
