Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on board a container vessel trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently on ocean-going voyages.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Monitor and record performance of main engine, auxiliaries, and related systems
• Carry out planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as required
• Ensure safe engine room operations and compliance with company and statutory regulations
• Supervise engine room ratings and support their training and development
• Assist with bunkering operations and fuel/lubricant management
• Maintain engine room logs, records, and reports accurately

• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as 2/E on container vessels preferred
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong teamwork, safety awareness, and hands-on problem-solving skills
