Join OSM Thome as Chief Steward (C/S) on an offshore cable-layer working worldwide. You will lead the catering team and make sure all crew are well fed and living areas are clean, safe and comfortable at all times.

• Key responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise all galley and mess room operations
• Plan menus and control food and stores in line with budget
• Ensure proper hygiene, cleaning and housekeeping in all accommodation areas
• Coordinate work schedules for stewards and galley staff
• Carry out regular checks on catering, laundry and hotel services onboard
• Follow company and vessel safety, health and sanitation procedures

• Requirements:
• Proven experience as Chief Steward or Steward in offshore / vessel operations
• Good knowledge of galley, stores and housekeeping routines
• Valid seafarer documents and medicals as per STCW
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership, teamwork and safety mindset
• Willingness to work worldwide on an offshore cable-layer
