OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Pumpman to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Join us at sea and support safe and efficient cargo operations with a professional and reliable crew.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain cargo pumps and associated systems
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging and tank cleaning operations
• Carry out routine checks, inspections and basic repairs on deck equipment and pipelines
• Ensure proper valve line-up and correct handling of oil/chemical cargoes
• Follow company and vessel safety procedures, including permit-to-work and enclosed space entry
• Report any defects, leaks or unsafe conditions to senior officers

Requirements

• Sea-going experience as Pumpman on oil and/or chemical tankers
• Good knowledge of cargo pumps, valves and pipeline systems
• Familiar with tank cleaning, gas freeing and inerting operations
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for tanker service
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work well within an international crew
