3rd Engineer (3/E) – Oil/Chemical Tanker – Seychelles Flag – North Europe Trade, Joining CALLAO, PERU
**Description**
3rd Engineer required for oil/chemical tanker under Seychelles flag, trading in North Europe. Candidate will support engine room operations and maintenance under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure safe, efficient and compliant vessel performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in safe and efficient operation of main engine and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair of engine room equipment
- Monitor and record engine room parameters and report abnormalities
- Maintain fuel, lube oil, and machinery systems in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Assist with bunkering and transfer operations as required
- Ensure engine room safety, housekeeping, and pollution prevention procedures are followed
- Participate in drills and emergency response as per ISM and company procedures
**Requirements**
- Valid STCW III/1 3rd Engineer license (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year sea service as 3rd Engineer or 4th Engineer on oil/chemical tankers
- Experience with modern engine room systems on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker (oil/chemical) endorsements
- Valid medical fitness certificate and required seafarer documents for international trade
- Good English communication for shipboard operations and documentation
