Join OSM Thome, IWS as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on offshore Service Operation Vessels (CSOV) in France. You will support the galley team to provide good, safe and nutritious food for the crew and offshore personnel.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Assist Chief Cook in daily food preparation and cooking
    • Prepare salads, side dishes, desserts and baking as required
    • Keep galley, mess room and stores clean and in good order
    • Follow hygiene, safety and HACCP standards at all times
    • Assist with receiving, checking and proper storage of provisions
    • Help manage stock rotation and reduce food waste
  • Requirements:
    • Experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook, preferably offshore or at sea
    • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for offshore work
    • Basic food handling / hygiene certificates
    • Good English communication skills
    • Ability to work in shifts and in a small multinational crew
    • Positive attitude, reliable and safety-minded
