Join OSM Thome, IWS as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on offshore Service Operation Vessels (CSOV) in France. You will support the galley team to provide good, safe and nutritious food for the crew and offshore personnel.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Chief Cook in daily food preparation and cooking
- Prepare salads, side dishes, desserts and baking as required
- Keep galley, mess room and stores clean and in good order
- Follow hygiene, safety and HACCP standards at all times
- Assist with receiving, checking and proper storage of provisions
- Help manage stock rotation and reduce food waste
- Requirements:
- Experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook, preferably offshore or at sea
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for offshore work
- Basic food handling / hygiene certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts and in a small multinational crew
- Positive attitude, reliable and safety-minded
