Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be a key leader on board, supporting the Master and ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations at sea and in port.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Master in overall vessel management and navigation
• Plan and monitor cargo operations for chemical products
• Lead deck crew and oversee maintenance of deck and cargo equipment
• Ensure safe mooring, unmooring and shipboard operations
• Maintain and improve safety, security and environmental standards on board
• Manage ISM/ISPS documentation and participate in audits and inspections

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited) and STCW certificates
• Recent experience as Chief Officer on chemical tankers
• Experience with wall wash cargoes
• Valid chemical tanker (advanced) endorsement
• Strong cargo handling and tank cleaning experience
• Good leadership, communication and teamwork skills
• Fit for duty with valid medicals and travel documents
