Join OSM Thome, IWS as a 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on board offshore Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operating in Denmark. Support the Galley team in preparing good, healthy meals for the crew and ensure a clean, safe working environment at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Chief Cook in daily meal preparation for crew and guests
- Help plan menus and handle basic food preparation and baking
- Maintain galley and storage areas in clean and safe condition
- Receive, check and store food provisions and supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene and HSE rules at all times
- Support dishwashing, cleaning and waste management in galley
- Requirements:
- Experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook, preferably offshore or onboard vessels
- Basic seamanship and understanding of life at sea
- Valid maritime documents and medicals as per international and flag state rules
- Food handling / catering certificate as required
- Good English communication
- Team player with positive attitude and willingness to work in rotation
