Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on an offshore cable-layer trading worldwide. Work in a stable, international team, keeping our vessel and deck machinery safe, reliable and ready for operation.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Carry out steel repairs, fitting and welding on deck and in engine spaces
  • Assist with fabrication and maintenance of foundations, supports and brackets
  • Support deck and engine crew with repairs to pipelines, structures and equipment
  • Maintain tools, welding machines and workshop area in good order
  • Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Requirements:
  • Sea-going experience as Fitter or Welder/Fitter, preferably offshore or cable-layer
  • Good welding and gas-cutting skills (arc, MIG/MAG, etc.)
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
  • Good English communication and safety mindset
  • Ready for worldwide trading and offshore rotation
