Join our offshore crew as Chief Cook (C/C) on a PSV operating in United Kingdom waters. You will be in charge of the galley, preparing safe, tasty and nutritious meals for all onboard, keeping high standards of hygiene and food handling.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and officers
  • Order, receive and store food supplies and provisions
  • Ensure galley and mess rooms are clean, safe and well organized
  • Monitor food quality, portion control and cost-effective use of stores
  • Follow company and vessel hygiene, safety and HACCP procedures
  • Cooperate with Master and officers on catering and budget matters

Requirements

  • Previous experience as Chief Cook or Cook on offshore vessels, preferably PSV
  • Valid STCW basic safety training and relevant cook/catering certificates
  • Seafarer’s medical certificate valid for offshore service
  • Good command of English for shipboard communication
  • Strong focus on hygiene, safety and teamwork in a multicultural crew
