Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck/engine team, helping to keep the vessel safe, reliable and ready for cargo operations at all times.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting, grinding and maintenance jobs around the vessel
• Support engine room and deck crew with fabrication and fitting of parts and structures
• Maintain tools, welding equipment and work areas in safe working condition
• Assist during dry dock, inspections and major repairs as instructed by officers
• Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Fitter on seagoing vessels, preferably oil/chemical tankers
• Strong welding and metal fabrication skills (arc, gas and related processes)
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Good English communication and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
• Safety-minded, hands-on and able to work independently
