Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a Fast Supply Vessel operating offshore Israel. Take a key role in deck operations, navigation, and safety, working closely with the Master to ensure smooth and safe vessel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Master in navigation, vessel handling, and daily operations
- Plan and supervise deck crew and cargo/boarding operations
- Ensure safe mooring, unmooring, and offshore supply operations
- Maintain vessel stability, draft, and loading conditions
- Oversee deck maintenance, safety equipment, and drills
- Implement and follow ISM, ISPS and company safety procedures
- Prepare and maintain required logs, reports, and checklists
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer / Chief Mate license (unlimited or appropriate for vessel)
- Previous experience as Chief Officer, preferably on FSV or offshore support vessels
- Up-to-date STCW certificates and offshore medical
- Strong knowledge of offshore operations and safety standards
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Team player with strong leadership and communication skills
