Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on an offshore construction vessel in UK waters. You will be part of a professional crew, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe, reliable and ready for demanding offshore operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment on board, including power generation and distribution.
- Carry out troubleshooting, fault-finding and repairs on navigation, communication and automation systems.
- Perform planned maintenance and testing of electrical systems and safety devices.
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records in line with company and class requirements.
- Support safe vessel operations and cooperate closely with the bridge, engine and deck teams.
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates for offshore work.
- Recent experience as ETO, preferably on offshore or construction vessels.
- Strong hands-on skills with power systems, control systems and marine electronics.
- Good English communication and ability to work in an international crew.
- Medically fit for sea duty and willing to work in a busy offshore environment.
