Join OSM Thome as an Engine Mechanic on a passenger ferry in the USA. You will work as part of the engine room team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently, supporting smooth and reliable ferry operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out daily checks, maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary engines
• Monitor and record engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
• Assist with overhauls of machinery, pumps, compressors and other equipment
• Ensure safe operation of all engine room systems in line with company procedures
• Keep engine spaces clean, tidy and in good working order
• Support bunkering and fuel transfer operations as required

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Engine Mechanic or similar engine room rating on passenger or ferry vessels
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good knowledge of engine room machinery and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a watch system and in a small team
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow company procedures
