Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on a shuttle tanker trading off Brazil. You will be part of the engine team, keeping all machinery in safe and efficient working order.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
• Carry out routine rounds, lubrication and cleaning in engine room
• Monitor equipment, report defects and support repairs
• Follow safety procedures and take part in drills and permit-to-work routines
• Support bunkering, pumping and other engine room duties as required

• Requirements:
• Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) STCW certificates and medical
• Previous experience on tankers; shuttle tanker experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of engine room systems and safe working practices
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for sea service and willing to work in a team environment
• Yellow Fever vacc.
