We are looking for an experienced Chief Steward (C/S) to work onboard RORO vessel ARK FUTURA, trading under DFDS management.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise catering and housekeeping crew
  • Plan menus and manage food ordering, storage and cost control
  • Ensure galley, mess rooms and accommodation are kept clean and hygienic
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and company standards
  • Cooperate closely with Master and officers on daily operations
• Requirements:
  • Previous experience as Chief Steward or Senior Steward on RORO or similar vessels
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
  • Strong knowledge of shipboard catering and hygiene standards
  • Good English communication skills
  • Ability to lead a multicultural team and work under pressure
  • EU/Schengen work entitlement suitable for sailing from Latvia
