Join OSM Thome as Chief Baker on a passenger ferry in Europe. We are looking for an experienced seafarer baker who can ensure fresh, high-quality bread and pastries for guests and crew every day.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake bread, rolls, pastries, and cakes according to menu and standards
- Plan daily production and manage bakery stores and stock rotation
- Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and galley safety
- Work closely with the Galley team to support smooth meal service
- Keep bakery equipment and work areas clean and in good order
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Baker/Chief Baker on passenger vessels or ferries
- Relevant baking/cooking education or trade certificate
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea service
- Good command of English
- Team player with a hands-on, safety-minded attitude
