- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engine crew with daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain machinery spaces, tools and equipment
- Carry out basic lubrication and routine checks as instructed
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
- Support bunkering and other operations under supervision
- Report any defects or unsafe conditions to officers
- Requirements:
- Previous seagoing experience as Wiper or similar entry-level engine rating preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per regulations
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for engine room work, including shift/rotation duties
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
