OSM Thome is looking for a motivated 3rd Officer Junior to join an oil/chemical tanker trading in Europe. You will work closely with the bridge and deck team, gain solid tanker experience, and build your career at sea in a safe and professional environment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist with bridge watchkeeping and navigation
• Support cargo operations and tank preparation under supervision
• Participate in mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
• Carry out routine deck inspections and maintenance tasks
• Follow company safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Assist with updating charts, publications and voyage plans

• Requirements:
• Valid Officer of the Watch (Deck) / 3rd Officer CoC meeting STCW requirements
• Tanker (oil/chemical) familiarisation; Advanced Oil/Chemical Tanker Certificate preferred
• All required STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
• Good English communication skills
• Previous sea time as Deck Cadet or Junior Officer is an advantage
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
