Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore construction vessel operating in Taiwan. If you are a competent watchkeeping officer with solid offshore experience, we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

• Stand navigational watch and ensure safe passage of the vessel
• Assist the Chief Officer with deck operations and cargo/anchor handling
• Monitor DP operations and offshore construction activities as required
• Maintain navigation equipment, charts and publications up to date
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits and toolbox talks
• Participate in drills, inspections and maintenance as assigned

Requirements

• Valid STCW Officer of the Watch (Deck) license
• Experience as 2/O or OOW on offshore vessels, preferably construction/DP
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical fitness
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in an international crew
