- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Engine Ratings and Engineers with daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room spaces, tools, and equipment
- Carry out routine checks as instructed and report any irregularities
- Support bunkering and sludge operations as directed
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Wiper/Engine Rating as required
- Valid seaman’s book and medical fitness certificate
- Basic engine room knowledge and willingness to learn
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for worldwide trading and able to work in a multicultural crew
