Join OSM Thome as a Bosun on LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. Take charge of deck crew, maintain deck and cargo gear in safe working order, and support safe and efficient tanker operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck ratings in daily work and mooring operations
- Carry out and organize maintenance of deck, hull, fittings, and equipment
- Assist with cargo and tank cleaning operations as directed
- Ensure safe work practices and proper use of PPE on deck
- Report deck maintenance needs and follow planned maintenance routines
- Requirements:
- Experience as Bosun on tanker vessels, preferably LPG/Ethylene
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents for rank
- Strong leadership and communication skills with deck crew
- Good knowledge of mooring, cargo gear, and deck maintenance
- Fit for worldwide service and able to work in a multinational crew
- CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LPG/LNG AND SHOULD HAVE AMMONIA TRADE EXPERIENCE
- CANDIDATE MUST HAVE ATLEAST 1 YR EXP IN RANK
- CANDIDATE PREFERS WITH US VISA AND SCHENGEN VISA
- CANDIDATE MUST KEEN TO JOIN MIXED CREW NATIONALITIES INCLUDING INDIAN CREW
