OSM Thome is looking for experienced Electro Technical Officers (ETO) to serve on Walk to Work vessels operating in Brunei. You will be responsible for safe and reliable operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair vessel electrical power systems and distribution
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation, DP and control systems
- Look after navigation, communication and safety electronic equipment
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and fault-finding
- Ensure compliance with class, flag and company standards for all electrical systems
- Support the deck and engine teams with technical issues as required
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Minimum 2 years sea service as ETO in offshore, preferably on Walk to Work or similar vessels
- Strong experience with marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificates
- Team player with a hands-on, safety-focused approach
