Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on modern Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operating offshore Denmark. You will support safe and reliable vessel operations, working closely with the engineering team in a professional and stable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery
- Perform routine checks, lubrication, and cleaning of engine room equipment
- Monitor machinery parameters and report any abnormalities
- Carry out basic repairs and follow preventive maintenance plans
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in the engine room
- Support bunkering, transfer operations, and other engine room duties as required
Requirements
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) certificate and relevant STCW documentation
- Previous sea-going experience in the engine department, preferably on offshore or similar vessels
- Good knowledge of engine room routines, safe working practices, and permits to work
- Ability to work in a mixed crew and follow instructions from senior officers
- Medical fitness and readiness to work in offshore rotation
- Basic English communication skills, spoken and written
