Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on an offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) in Brunei. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations and keep essential machinery running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Chief Engineer in daily operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Monitor, troubleshoot and repair engine room and machinery systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep engine room logs updated
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international regulations
- Support bunkering operations and control fuel, lube oil and spare parts usage
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC for seagoing vessels
- Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on offshore or SOV vessels
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and other mandatory documents
- Good knowledge of engine room systems and planned maintenance routines
- Good English communication and strong safety mindset
