Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore support vessel trading in Philippine waters. You will support safe navigation, cargo and deck operations, and assist the Chief Officer and Master in daily shipboard duties.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe passage at sea and in port
- Operate and monitor navigational and communication equipment
- Assist with voyage planning, chart corrections and publications
- Support cargo, anchor handling and deck operations as required
- Carry out safety, security and environmental checks and drills
- Maintain logs, records and bridge equipment in good order
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OIC-NW license, compliant with STCW
- Offshore / OSV experience preferred
- Valid Philippine seafarer documents and medical
- Good watchkeeping and ship-handling skills
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in a mixed crew
- Good communication skills in English
