Join OSM Thome as Bosun (BSN) on an offshore PSV in Brunei. We are looking for an experienced deck crew leader who can keep the deck safe, organized and ready for operations at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise deck ratings during daily deck work and cargo operations
- Plan and carry out maintenance of deck, equipment and mooring gear
- Organize and secure cargo, deck stores and lifting gear
- Assist with anchor handling, mooring, unmooring and towing operations as required
- Ensure safe work practices and proper use of PPE on deck
- Support bridge and officers during drills and emergency operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as Bosun or senior AB on offshore PSV or similar vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as required
- Good knowledge of deck work, mooring, rigging and lifting operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills with deck crew
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in Brunei waters
