Join OSM Thome as Bosun onboard an Offshore PSV in Brunei. We are looking for an experienced deck leader who can keep the deck safe, organized and ready for all operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise deck crew in day-to-day deck work
- Carry out mooring, anchoring and cargo/rig supply operations
- Oversee deck maintenance, painting and upkeep of equipment
- Ensure safe working practices and proper use of PPE
- Assist bridge and officers during deck operations as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as Bosun, preferably on Offshore/PSV vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as per flag and trade
- Strong leadership and good communication skills with multinational crew
- Good knowledge of safe deck operations and cargo handling
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in Brunei area
