Join OSM Thome as a Medic onboard our Service Operation Vessels (SOV) in Brunei. You will be responsible for the medical care of all crew and offshore personnel, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment at sea.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first aid, emergency care and routine medical treatment to crew and offshore personnel
- Maintain medical inventory, equipment and medicines according to company and flag state requirements
- Keep accurate medical records and prepare medical reports as required
- Carry out health checks, wellness monitoring and basic health education onboard
- Support the Master and HSE team in all health-related matters and emergency drills
- Ensure the vessel’s medical facilities are clean, organized and ready for use at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Medic, Nurse or Paramedic with valid professional license
- Previous offshore or maritime experience is an advantage
- Valid offshore medical fitness certificate
- Up-to-date certificates in first aid, trauma care and basic life support (BLS); advanced life support (ALS) is an asset
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote offshore environment
