Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) offshore Brunei. You will work with a professional crew, support safe marine operations, and help keep the vessel in good working order.
- Key responsibilities:
- Handle mooring, anchoring, and deck operations safely
- Assist with cargo and equipment handling offshore
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge and watch duties
- Carry out maintenance, cleaning, chipping, and painting on deck
- Operate deck gear as instructed by officers and bosun
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and seafarer documents as per STCW
- Previous offshore / SOV or similar vessel experience preferred
- Valid medical fitness certificate and relevant safety courses
- Good English communication and ability to work in a mixed crew
- Safety-minded, reliable, and willing to work in a rotation offshore Brunei
