Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook on an offshore construction vessel trading worldwide. You will lead the galley team and make sure the crew is well-fed with safe, good quality meals every day.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and officers
- Supervise galley staff and organise their work and duties
- Manage food stores, ordering and stock control
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleaning and safe food handling in the galley
- Follow company standards and health & safety rules at all times
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as Chief Cook or Cook on offshore/sea-going vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good knowledge of international and mixed crew cuisine
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high hygiene standards
- Good English communication skills
