Join OSM Thome as a Receptionist on a passenger ferry in Europe. In this front-line role, you will welcome and assist passengers, provide information, and help ensure a safe, smooth and pleasant travel experience onboard.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist passengers during embarkation and throughout the voyage
- Provide clear information on cabins, facilities, safety procedures and daily program
- Handle check-in, key cards, and general reception desk duties
- Respond to passenger questions, requests and basic complaints in a polite manner
- Coordinate with ship’s officers and crew to support safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records, logs and basic paperwork as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality or customer service, preferably at sea
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Strong communication and passenger service skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort with standard office systems
- Ability to work in shifts and in a multicultural crew
- Valid seafarer documents and medical certificate, or readiness to obtain them
