OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for a bulk carrier under Marshall Islands flag, trading worldwide. Joining port: TBA.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe cargo operations on bulk carrier (loading, discharging, ballast)
- Planning and supervising deck crew and deck maintenance
- Navigation watchkeeping and bridge team management
- Updating and implementing shipboard safety procedures
- Assisting the Master in ship operations and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with international and flag state regulations
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited)
- Minimum 1 year experience as Chief Officer on bulk carriers
- Sea experience on bulk vessels with ME engine
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Good English communication skills
